What Is Tk Assistant?

Tk Assistant is a GUI currently containing 45 code modules that will help beginners learn about Tkinters widgets through self-contained examples, and the ability to execute the code quickly from the Tk Ass GUI itself.

Tk Assistant can also be useful for more advanced users not familiar with Tkinter. Looking at and editing the code examples will most surely be the fastest way to learn the basics of Tkinter for anyone, and in future could serve users as a mini Tkinter code database. I hope to add more “squirts” (code examples) in the near future.

Windows-Linux-Mac

This help page is for Tk Assistant V2.0w. The “w” means Windows only, for now. I shall be working on a Linux version soon. However Linux and MAC users can still use the folder of “squirts” independent of the GUI should they so wish.
