Apache Pulsar vs. Apache Kafka

Hi all,

do you have experience with either Apache Pulsar or Kafka for stream processing? Mainly I want to use the underlying distributed log from Pulsar (BookKeeper) to distribute a transaction log and to have certain guarantees (single writer, read your own writes consistency…).

I want to expose this however for other stream processing tasks as an additional API.
