Android == Java but Java != Android

Maybe a strange title but let me give a small explanation. Btw I know there is also Kotlin but I am leaving it out of this, only talking about Android/Java.

My frustration is that whenever I do one of the many available dev surveys there is only a Java option but to me I am an Android developer and not a Java developer. I don’t know how to make a Java application and even though Android uses Java to me there are still lots of differences.

I would like to see an Android/Java option in these surveys right next to Java.

Lots of survey results have Java as one of the biggest programming languages but in my opinion this is only because Android is a big part of it.

So what do you guys think about this?
Should surveys split these up?
If they do will the survey results (for Java) have a big impact?
